Duncan Walker

Co-Founder / Managing Director

Duncan has 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Before starting Skyports, he was a Main Board Director at Helical plc, a FTSE listed investment and development company.  At Helical, Duncan was responsible for the £1bn investment portfolio.

Duncan started his career as a management consultant at Deloitte consulting. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from Oxford University. He lives with his wife, 3 children and 2 dogs in Wandsworth, London.

Simon Morrish

Co-Founder

Simon has been building strong operational businesses since 1999.  Since leading the buy-in of Ground Control, a facilities management company, in 2004, he has been heavily involved in operations, financial management and business development, along with acquiring four new businesses into Ground Control.  He has also backed management teams and led investments in Excel IT, Solar Ventus, CQC and Survey Roofing, along with investing in a number of other ventures in the US and the UK.

Simon holds a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering and Management from Oxford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.  He lives with his wife and four children in Billericay, Essex.

Jeannie Pritchard

Infrastructure Manager

Jeannie joined Skyports from Fairacre Asset Management where she was a retail portfolio asset manager and industrial development manager. Prior to this she worked at LXB Retail Properties Plc, a retail investment and development fund. Her experience ranges across acquisitions, disposals, planning, leasing and development.

Jeannie is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds a first class degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University.

Jeannie is responsible for securing new Vertiport locations across Europe.

Alex Brown

Strategy & Operations Manager

Alex is a Strategy Manager for Skyports responsible for identifying, implementing and operating drone solutions with partners from the health, logistics and e-commerce sectors globally.

Alex joined Skyports from Virgin Australia Group Strategy team where he advised the CEO and Senior Leadership team on the strategic direction of the airline. Prior to Virgin Australia, Alex was with PwC Strategy & Operations Consulting team, where he advised clients across a variety of industries including health, government, mining and utilities

Alex has a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Corporate Finance from the University of Adelaide.

Jef Geudens

Strategy & Operations Manager

Jef is a Strategy Manager for Skyports responsible for developing and implementing drone solutions with commercial and government partners as well as managing the relationships with vehicle partners.

Jef is a former management consultant working in the aviation industry. He previously worked at ICF as a project manager in the Aerospace and MRO practice. At ICF Jef delivered strategy, M&A and aftermarket forecasting engagements.

Jef holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

Damian Kysely

Infrastructure Manager

Damian is an Infrastructure Manager for Skyports responsible for developing and implementing global infrastructure strategy by working with real estate partners, city authorities, regulators and passenger vehicle manufacturers.

Prior to joining Skyports, Damian co-founded and ran Skyscape Technologies, a UK government-backed data analytics start-up identifying disused rooftop potential. He is also a Founding Partner at The Aviary Project, a collaborative platform and community for the Aerial Mobility industry. After his studies, Damian joined a transport technology consultancy in London and managed an early stage start-up accelerator programme in Manchester.

Damian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Manchester .

Simon Whalley

Regulatory & Policy Manager

Simon is a Regulatory & Policy Manager for Skyports responsible for engaging and working with regulators globally to ensure safe and compliant operations across Skyports Infrastructure and Operations.

Simon is a senior policy and communications professional with more than a decade’s experience in the aviation and aerospace industry. Simon joined Skyports from the Royal Aeronautical Society, where he was Head of External Affairs, leading the Society’s influence on public policy and political decision-making in the UK, as well as growing the Society’s profile in UK and international media.
Prior to the Royal Aeronautical Society, Simon was Head of External Affairs at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Foreign Languages from King’s College London, and a Graduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of London. He is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations .

Oliver Wagner

Systems Engineer

Oliver is a Systems Engineer for Skyports, responsible for driving the technical development and implementation of Skyports’ drone delivery solution.

Oliver joined Skyports from the space industry, after working on ESA sponsored scientific satellite development projects. In the two years he spent at C3S LLC, he built the foundations of space thermal engineering and simulation at the company, proactively developing models, and optimizing the design of the spacecraft.

Oliver has a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University, and won the John Stollery Memorial Aerodynamics Prize in 2017 with his research in aerodynamics. He also holds a BSc diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.

James Bircumshaw

Infrastructure Manager

James is an Infrastructure Manager for Skyports, responsible for developing and implementing Skyport’ global infrastructure strategy. James works with real estate partners, city authorities, regulators and passenger vehicle manufacturers to grow Skyports’ network of passenger and freight infrastructure.

James joined Skyports from Savills where he specialised in commercial property asset management working with some of the largest global landlords and developers as their trusted advisor.

James is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, he is also an ISTAR (Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition) Soldier currently serving in the Honourable Artillery Company, an active reserve regiment in the City of London.
