Shape tomorrow's cities

This role sits at the center of how we scale urban air transport. You'll design and implement the systems that manage vertiport operations across multiple cities, working directly with our leadership team to solve problems that haven't been solved before.

You'll own the technical architecture that keeps our network running. That means building for reliability, security, and the kind of performance that matters when lives depend on it. You won't be managing abstractions—you'll be managing real infrastructure in real cities.

The work spans from day-to-day operations to long-term strategy. You'll coordinate with teams across engineering, operations, and business to ensure every piece fits. When something breaks, you fix it. When something works, you make it better.

You report directly to our operations leadership and have the authority to make decisions that stick. We don't have layers of approval here. You see a problem, you solve it, and you move forward.

This position is based in one of our primary markets, with the flexibility to work remotely depending on the demands of the role. Travel to other Skyport locations happens regularly—typically one to two weeks per month—to oversee operations and coordinate across our network.

You'll work with a team of people who know what they're doing. No one here is learning on the job. Everyone brings real experience and real capability. The bar is high because the work demands it.

What you'll need: A track record of building and operating complex systems. Experience managing teams or leading technical initiatives. The ability to think clearly under pressure and communicate decisions that others will follow. You've shipped something before. You've fixed something broken. You know what it takes.
